ATP's Transmission filters are designed to keep the life blood of your transmission (transmission fluid) clean. Every transmission will eventually accumulate debris from normal wear and tear. It is critical that the transmission fluid is kept clean so the valve body and other vital components do not become clogged making them in-operable. By regularly replacing your transmission filter, you will be extending your transmission's life and reducing the possibility of costly repairs that could have been avoided.
Tips & Tools For The Job
Place a Drain Pan under the transmission to catch old fluid
Use a Scraper to remove the old pan gasket and ensure the pan edges are free of any gasket residue
Torque pan bolts in a criss-cross pattern during reinstallation to ensure uniform gasket compression
Measure the amount of old transmission fluid drained to determine how much new Transmission Fluid to add
Use a Funnel to prevent spills when refilling the transmission
