A Detroit Iron OEM Parts Guide or Parts Book provides detailed parts information via exploding diagram cutouts of sections of your vehicle assembly with part numbers and textual descriptions. A parts guide provides part interchange information so you can find replacement parts. The part book sections usually include: suspension, engine, transmission, body fittings/parts, brakes, cooling radiator, electrical, exhaust, fenders, frame, fuel system, etc.
Instructions
Insert CD into your computer
Click on the drive of the CD device to see its contents. You will see a folder or directory named similar to your product, e.g. 1965 Dodge. Note: You may copy this folder and its contents to your computer hard drive for faster viewing.
Click into the folder and open the detroit-iron-shop-manuals.html file with your favorite browser and you will see a bookcase containing your manuals.
Click on a manual icon to open the PDF file in a PDF reader per browser settings.
System Requirements: Any OS that allows user access to the file system, e.g. Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chromebook, etc. An HTML Browser, e.g. Edge, Explorer, Chrome, Safari, FireFox, etc.
