A no-compromise design engineered to fit small diameter recesses in new tuner wheels. Spline Drive lug nuts offer an exclusive closed-end design, which eliminates the rust problems associated with open-end socket style lug nuts. And, they're 30% lighter in weight!
More Stud Engagement
Exterior drive splines allow deeper stud engagement vs. socket style nuts that use up to 34% of their length for tool engagement.
Superior Drive Design
The precision fit and efficient drive angle of the splines provide greater contact area and greater torquing power during installation and removal, with 59% more positive engagement over socket style lug nuts.
Greater Seating Area
Compared to socket style lug nuts, McGard lug nuts have 26% more seating surface. Zinc plating on the cone seating surface enhances torque tension.
Lug Nut Measurement / Seat Guide
Verify Lug Nut to Wheel mating surface ('Seat') for proper and safe fit - seat styles are not interchangeable.
McGard Quality Comparison
McGard tested the corrosion resistance of their lug nuts against four competitors in a CASS (copper-accelerated acetic acid-salt spray). This test involves subjecting plated parts to a salt solution at a specific temperature, pressure and duration to mimic exposure to the elements (comparable to Detroit weather conditions). Before each 22 hour CASS cycle the lug nuts were installed and removed using a lug wrench to simulate normal use.
