From development through the design process, UAC has taken great care in ensuring their radiator program meets or exceeds the standards of the OEM.

  • Built with premium quality materials and designed with precision tooling for ultimate durability
  • 100% Leak Tested
  • Advanced engineering to solve original design failures
  • Drop-in, hassle-free installation
  • Engineered and manufactured under ISO 9001 / TS16949 quality systems
Service Tip: If you are experiencing unexplained or reoccurring radiator core leaks, or notice dark spots on your failed radiator core, test your coolant for Electrolysis. If detected, correct the source of the problem before replacing your failed radiator to prevent repeat failure.
UAC's Testing Process

  • Vacuum Test: Radiator is sealed and air is vacuumed from radiator to ensure it is free from leaks and maintains structural integrity under vacuum
  • Leak Test: Radiator is pumped with fluids at room temperature and inspected for leaks
  • Leak Test (High Pressure): Radiator is pumped with high pressure and submerged in tank to inspect radiator for leaks
  • Vibration Test: Radiator is fastened to motion table where excessive lateral vibration is applied and then checked for structural damage
  • High / Low Temperature: Coolant is pumped through the radiator while externally heated (or cooled) to extreme temperatures simulating hot (or cold) weather conditions
  • Internal Corrosion Test: Corrosives pumped into the radiator for extended periods of time and inspected for corrosion
  • External Corrosion Test: Radiator is submerged in corrosive bath for extended periods of time and inspected for corrosion
  • Strength Test: Radiator is pumped with fluids and high pressure is applied to test capacity without degradation
  • Thermal Cycling Test: Continuously cycle between extreme heat and cold temperatures to test radiator for fatigue or loss of performance
  • Thermal, Wind and Water Resistance Test: Varying temperatures, wind, and water are applied to the exterior of the radiator to ensure they maintain low degradation standards
  • Drop Weight Test: Weighted bags are repeatedly dropped onto plastic tank and checked for damage
  • Impact Resistance Test: Crushed stone is used to impact radiator surface to meet or exceed OEM standards

Cooling System Maintenance | Tips & Tools

Without regular maintenance, cooling system components will degrade and fail prematurely, which can lead to costly engine damage. Protect your engine with simple preventative maintenance:

  • Completely drain and flush the system using Cooling System Flush prior to installation. Flushing the system is critical to prevent system contamination and failure.
  • Consider replacing the Radiator Hoses (and Hose Clamps), Thermostat and Radiator Cap as part of routine preventative maintenance. System contamination can cause these parts to degrade and fail over time, which can lead to severe engine damage from overheating.
  • Refill radiator with fresh Coolant / Antifreeze according to the volume and formula specified in your Owner's Manual. Inspect levels and condition every year.
