Melling's “402” Series: Heavy Duty, Mild Performance Sets (Good)
These sets offer high quality / low cost for heavy duty or mild performance applications. They contain double row roller timing chains providing extra strength and durability. They are offered with a .200” chain for small blocks or a .220” chain for big blocks and also contain cast iron camshaft sprockets. This is an excellent upgrade over the OE timing components.
Service Tip: Clean and sufficient oil is the key to getting maximum life from your timing system. Premature component or complete system failure can often be traced to oiling issues. Always use manufacturer-recommended oil and follow manufacturer-recommended service intervals.
