Additional requirements include: 1) Oils must be put into service no later than five (5) years from the date of purchase, and 2) oil changes must be completed in accordance with the vehicle's owner's manual or by written guidance from your OEM and/or ExxonMobil.
Mobil Super™ Motor Oil: ExxonMobil warrants its lubricants to be free from defects, and that the lubricant you purchased will protect your vehicle’s critical engine parts from oil-related failure. The Mobil Super and Mobil Super™ High Mileage limited warranties are valid for 5,000 miles or your vehicle’s OEM recommended oil change interval, whichever is longer. Mobil™ Transmission Fluids: ExxonMobil warrants its automatic transmission fluids to be free from defects, and that the fluid you purchased will protect your vehicle’s critical transmission from lubricant related failure. This limited warranty is valid for the length of the OEM recommended fluid change interval for your vehicle as long as the fluid is put in service not later than five years from the date of purchase.
